The Farmhouse and Cottage accommodation are in La Chapelle, Deux Sèvres, Poitou Charentes. La Chapelle is in a peaceful rural hamlet away from it all but yet ideally situated between the small market towns of Sauzé Vaussais and Chef Boutonne which are both about 7km away.
Travel
The nearest airport is Poitiers, approximately a 40 minute drive, but La Rochelle, Limoges, Tours and Bordeaux are all within commutable distance. Calais is about a 6 hour drive, Cherbourg round about 5 hours. A car is essential, but driving on the quiet French roads is a real joy.
We regularly use the Dover-Bolougne crossing with Speedferries, again about a 6 hour drive.
